Show Committee

The Island 22 Show Committee was formed in January of 2010.

It is our hope that with the creation of separate Show and Park Committees more volunteers will step forward to assist with the running of events and training days.

The Show Committee is responsible for the organizing of our two annual events and is looking into holding one or two dressage or training days during the summer to give our competitors more opportunities to improve and train.

Because the Show Committee is separate from the Park Committee they do not have to deal with the politics involved with the sport and other than the pre-event preparation required, do not have to worry about the maintenance of the park.

We are looking for a few new faces to join our Committee to help with the millions of details needed to run an event smoothly. If you are interested in being a part of a long standing tradition please let us know. Contact us at:

Mosquito level at the park

as of July 28, 2010 - The dark trails have more during the day but a bit of spray makes it dealable. There have been a lot of horses out there, even camping, without issues.

Water jump perfect! Water went down some more. Only one or two other small puddles in the gully area.

Mowing - Finished July 28th - Next scheduled mowing August 23 -31
