The Island 22 Horse Trials is held every year during the August/September Labour Day Weekend.

This event is our main fund raising event of the year. Throughout the month of August a course designer is hired and our Group Men go to work with hammer, nails and saw to build all new jumps to wow our Eventers. It can take two, sometimes three, very hard weeks and must be done rain or shine.

The popularity of the event has grown to the point of having almost 200 horses each year. We get riders from all over British Columbia, Alberta, Washington and sometimes even farther.

Mosquito level at the park

as of July 28, 2010 - The dark trails have more during the day but a bit of spray makes it dealable. There have been a lot of horses out there, even camping, without issues.

Water jump perfect! Water went down some more. Only one or two other small puddles in the gully area.

Mowing - Finished July 28th - Next scheduled mowing August 23 -31
